Sales Executive, Aviation

Key Publishing is Europe’s foremost transport publisher and is renowned around the globe for its wide range of magazines and media. The company produces market-leading publications and its aviation portfolio includes AIR International, AirForces Monthly, Airliner World, Combat Aircraft, FlyPast and Aviation News.
We are looking to recruit a Sales Executive to work within our Aviation team. Reporting to the Senior Advertisement Manager, Aviation, you will be responsible for looking after the advertising needs of your customers.

You will possess the following experience:

  • A minimum of two years sales experience
  • Successful key account management
  • A track record in exceeding individual and team sales targets
  • New business development
  • Strong negotiation skills

You will be:

  • Self-motivated and possess a proactive attitude to conducting business
  • Dedicated to finding creative sales solutions
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Competitive, ambitious and goal-orientated
  • Friendly, sociable and outgoing
  • A provider of excellent customer service

Whilst not essential, interest in or experience of aviation would be beneficial.

Customer Services Assistant - Full-time

Due to ongoing expansion and development, an opportunity has arisen to join Key Publishing’s busy Customer Services department.

Key Publishing is Europe’s foremost transport publisher, producing market-leading magazines within all sectors of aviation, rail, bus and modelling such as FlyPast, Airliner World, Modern Railways and Hornby Magazine.

Based in Stamford, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and assisting in the implementation of our direct sales activities.

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • A good communicator, able to deal with staff, the public, customers and suppliers.

Good use of written and verbal English.

  • A helpful disposition and a ‘can-do’ attitude.

The ability to react quickly in an ever-changing and demanding environment.

  • Able to prioritise effectively.

Good administration skills.

  • Fully competent using Word, Excel, Email and the Internet.

Numerate.

Marketing Assistant/Executive - Digital Specialist - Full-time

Due to ongoing expansion and development, an opportunity has arisen to join Key Publishing’s busy Marketing department.

Key Publishing is Europe’s foremost transport publisher, producing market-leading magazines within all sectors of aviation, rail, bus and modelling such as FlyPast, Airliner World, Modern Railways and Hornby Magazine.

Based in Stamford, you will assist in the implementation of Key Publishing’s digital marketing strategy and activities, and assist in offline marketing activities where applicable.

The successful candidate will have/be:

18 months digital marketing experience, preferably within publishing, media or retail sectors. Please note, all levels of experience will be considered.

Experience in web functionality, SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media/online communities and online advertising.

Excellent IT skills and fully competent using Word, Excel, Email, Social Media platforms, email marketing automation systems, Google Analytics and the Internet.

High level of numeracy. - Good use of written and verbal English.

Good copy writing skills and an eye for detail and design.

Excellent communicator, able to deal with staff, the public, customers and suppliers.

Hard working, able to multi-task, prioritise and capable of working to tight deadlines.

Be self-motivated with a can-do attitude.

Able to work some weekends during the year (event attendance).

An interest in electronic media and marketing.

Based in Stamford, you will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager and Group Marketing Manager in the implementation of Key Publishing’s marketing strategy and activities, provide administrative resource for the Event Coordinator and cover for the marketing team as required.

The successful candidate will have/be:

Good use of written and verbal English.

Good copy writing skills and an eye for detail and design.

  • High level of numeracy.

Event attendance: Able to work some weekends throughout the year.
