The Buses Festival – one of the biggest events in the public transport calendar – is fast approaching.

More than 100 buses ranging from vintage to modern will gather at the British Motor Museum on Sunday, August 18th for the annual show organised by Key Publishing.

The event attracts thousands of bus enthusiasts every year who come to view the collection of restored vehicles, browse the trade stands and enjoy free rides around local routes on a variety of rare buses and coaches.

Now in its sixth year, the Buses Festival goes from strength to strength and represents a terrific value day out. Entry to the British Motor Museum – a collection of 300 historic and famous cars – is included in the ticket price.

Tickets costing £14.50 adult, £12.50 concessions, £9 children or £40 family (two adults and up to three children) are available on the gate or in advance at discounted rates here https://shop.keypublishing.com/department/productList/department/TICKET until Wednesday, August 14th.

A limited number of VIP tickets – which include a guided tour of a rare vehicle, a short illustrated talk by Buses Magazine editor Alan Millar, a die-cast model, a DVD and a copy of the newly published Buses Yearbook – are also available at £40.

Parking at the Warwickshire site is free, and the event runs from 10am until 4pm.
